The project is making great strides. On Instagram and Facebook you can always see the latest progress and look over our shoulder at work.
We stand up for these great children …
„Live for yourself and you will live in vain; live for others and you will live again.“
We started our work in the village of Mtakuja. There was a child named Tima living on the street because both parents had died. We wanted to help. So we provided it with food and everything it needed to survive. Through our work in tourism, we quickly found people who supported us. Only nobody has had the courage to set up a center together with us. Together with Kerstin and all our other friends around the world we can now make our dream come true.
My name is Elia Amos. I was born in Nyarugusu village in Mwanza region. I was fortunate to be raised by a single parent, my mother. I actually lived a very difficult life. Food, shelter, and even clothing were the major challenges in our daily lives. This difficult life made me very weak, and sometimes I even ran to school looking for food for my family to eat. I wanted others not to go through the life I went through, and that’s when I took on the responsibility of helping others. I am now seven years old since I decided to help orphans and vulnerable people, and I am happy to help them and make them not feel isolated in the communities around us.
„One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let orphans know they are not alone…“
